$35.00 USD

Everything you need to paint along in the Vibrant Watercolor Washes for Colorful Paintings prepped and ready to go. It's a great way to try my favorite professional paints and 100% cotton paper without buying full tubes and pads yourself.

The workshop ticket is sold separately. Register on eventbrite.

You do NOT have to purchase a kit to participate in the workshop. You are welcome to bring your own supplies.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the kit to take the workshop?

No. You're welcome to use your own supplies. The full supply list is included in the workshop description and here.

Does the kit include everything I need for the workshop?

Almost. Bring a water jar and, if you like, a pencil. Everything else is included.

Does purchasing the kit include a ticket to the workshop?

No. The kit is supplies only. Register for the live workshop separately on Eventbrite.

When will my kit ship?

Kits will ship by November 9, 2026. If you order after that point, I will ship it as quickly as possible, but I cannot guarantee it will arrive in time for the live workshop.

Do you ship outside the US?

Kits ship to US address only.

Can I return my kit?

Because each kit is prepared by hand, kits can't be returned. If anything arrives damaged, email hello@shelbythayneart within 7 days with a photo and I'll make it right.

What is a dot card?

A dot card is a small sample of watercolor paint, squeezed from the tube and dabbed onto paper to dry. Touch a wet brush to a dot and the paint activates just like a dry watercolor plate. It's an easy way to try professional paints before buying a full tube.

Why is there a non-cotton sheet of paper?

So you can see for yourself how differently cotton and non-cotton paper handle water and layered washes. It's the quickest way to understand why paper matters.
